Just click on the “Photos” link for that home. This is a work in progress so by no means a complete listing. If you know of other homes that belong on this list, please comment here.

This is the home featured in our masthead but the roof has been modified since it was built. It used to be a flat roof and now has a built-up slanted roof.
Concrete block. In “The Orchards” north of Fairport Road, Robert E. Tompkins, builder.
See “A Modern House for Modern Living”
Baird Rd near 31F up to Whitney and Baird 1 lane bridge go left down to a group of Hershey houses? Are these “the Orchards”?
Regarding the homes across from Eastview Mall, I believe the street is Lasalle Parkway, not Lafayette Parkway. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for catching that Jason!
Hi, We just purchased a Don Hershey home on 10 Blossom Lane, Fairport, NY and would love to know more of it’s history. We have validation that this is an actual Don Hershey home via site plans. Where would I go to find information on this particular home. I have tried reviewing websites – but no luck.
Hi Cindy,
Thanks for your interest. I’ve added an entry with photos. I knew Hershey designed a home on Blossom Lane but didn’t have a house number so you’ve helped me solve one more mystery. This site is a work in progress. It’s great that you have the Hershey plans. I can tell you that the original owner was Frank Pappalardo. I see that his granddaughter is still working in the Pappalardo Law Office in Fairport so she may have some info on the house from her father who would have probably grown up in it. I love those kind of stories. If you discover anything, please let me know. I’d love to include it on the site.

A Hershey homeowner
We own a very “Hershey-like” home in Perinton/Pittsford area (4 Springwood Lane). My wife is suspecting it is a Hershey. I’m trying to research if that is true or, if not, who (which architect and builder) did, in fact design and build this terrific house. We love it so. Any pointers anyone can provide to determine if this is, or is not a “Hershey” architected house would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mark
Mark,
It’s not mentioned in Hershey’s books but there’s still a possibility that it is. The town could provide records of the architect. Let me know what you find out.
Hello Peggi: Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried the town and they say they do not have that record as they began collection of them after this house was built (1959). I think the builder was Bill Wertheim who build 240 Hibiscus in Brighton. I think Bill lived here and built other houses on Springwood. It may be a Hershey. Then again, Bill could have copied his ideas and designs. I’ll go back to the town and try again.
That is such a beautiful house. I used to go there with my mother a lot to spend time with Christine Sevilla and the dog.
HI Peggy,
I see the 6 Cavan Way, is up for sale. It’s listed as a Don Hershey house, but I don’t see it on this website. Do you have any more info?
Alex, Yes, I just did a post on it. See the front page of the site http://www.donhershey.com . I also now have it up under Fairport/Perinton. Thanks for your comment.
My parents built that house in 1969, and it’s a Don Hershey house. It was sold in 2016, and the “new” owners still live there.
We live in a Don Hershey designed home at 177 Bluhm Road in Fairport. It was build for Virginia Cobb in 1966. We have lived here since 1984 and love the house – truly unusual.
Hi Nancy and Peter,
Thanks for you comment to donhershey.com. Glad you are so happy in your Hershey home and have been for so many years. I have added it to the Fairport page.
Peggi
