Peggy,
I was in this house when it was last for sale. It is stunning for such a small dwelling. The newspaper articles I found on it claimed that the original Owners, one of whom was a celebrated artist, designed the house themselves.
Chris, Thanks for the info. Hershey’s notes say that he designed a home on this street and, to my eyes, 103 looked like the most likely possibility. It’s still a mystery.
This home was owned and occupied by my uncle and aunt Wesley Kaiser and Helen (nee Strauchen ) Kaiser from at least 1964 until the mid 1980’s. I was a guest in this home many times in the 1960’s -it was spectacular at the time.Their only son, Kent Kaiser (last known address Spencer Rd. Irondequoit )would certainly have more information about this home.
Hope this helps.
